More than 200 business executives attended the 5th Annual Economic and Small Business Forum presented by Liberty Bell Bank. The event took place on Tuesday October 25th 2011 at the Moorestown Community House. Keynote speakers included Jim Rudolph, Chairman and CEO of Rita’s Italian Ice and Dr. William C. Dunkelberg, Chief Economist for the National Federation of Independent Business, Professor of Economics at Temple University, and business columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Mr. Rudolph shared the 27 year success story of Rita’s Italian Ice. Dr. Dunkelberg provided an overview of the state of the local, regional and national economy. “As a small business owner, it was helpful to hear the encouraging words of Mr. Rudolph and Dr. Dunkelbergs’ inciteful thoughts on the current state of the local, regional and national economy,” said John Engleman owner of Lewis Funeral Home in Moorestown. “Having an event such as this at this time of year is very helpful for a business owner such as myself as I am currently preparing my budget and marketing plans for 2012,” Engleman concluded.
